Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our Chiang Mai R&D team. You will work on the development of advanced medical and wellness devices, collaborating closely with our engineering team in Thailand and partners in China and Taiwan.

This role requires someone who can bridge concept to prototype to production, with strong ownership and practical execution ability.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development
– Design and develop mechanical systems and components for medical devices
– Translate product requirements into manufacturable designs
– Work on housings, optical/mechanical integration, thermal management, and structural components
– Support iterative prototyping and testing cycles

Prototyping & Testing
– Build and refine prototypes (hands-on work expected)
– Validate designs through testing (mechanical, thermal, usability)
– Work closely with firmware/electronics to ensure system integration

Manufacturing & DFM
– Prepare designs for manufacturing (DFM/DFA)
– Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing partners (primarily Taiwan & China)
– Support tooling development and production ramp-up

Cross-functional Collaboration
– Work with electrical/firmware engineers, industrial design, and manufacturing partners
– Participate in cross-disciplinary problem solving

Required Skills & Experience

– Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
– 5–8+ years of relevant experience

– Strong English communication skills are preferred.
– Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks preferably)
– Experience with injection molded plastics, sheet metal, die-casting, and assembly design
– Understanding of tolerancing, materials selection, and thermal considerations

– Experience with medical or wellness devices

– Exposure to ISO13485 environments
– Experience working with Asian manufacturing ecosystems
– Ability to work independently in a small, high-trust team
